the focus is a little too far back. it should be more on the center of the flower. i know that is hard to do with a macro lens...i would just recommend taking more shots changing the focus slightly and then reviewing them for clarity later when they are on a big monitor. i like the black background and the composition is okay but could be better. the shadows are a little distracting and i would recommend using a diffuser or reflector to fix that. nice job though, keep working at it
